REFLECTOR: Cabin Heating

If 99% of the V has the same heater configuration (for the RGs?), then they
must have same "meat locker" problem. Anything below OAT 0C is just a real
problem. I resent hating to take a trip in the cold part of winter knowing
how much it's going to hurt. A few extra pounds of hardware seems like a
small price to pay for relief.
Several have commented that high pressure oil in the cabin is not a
comforting thought...and I agree. Is anyone familiar with leakage events
from oil lines/hydraulic hose/oil cooler for the type installation that a
person would put in the cabin? It's a given that hot oil in the cabin is
not good, but what are the realistic odds of it happening?
By the way, when I "shortened" my winglet, my feet were numb and my fingers
stiff....I'm blaming it on the cold.

I also have the heater configuration that you do and that 99% of every
other V does.
I froze my ass off flying my just purchased airplane from Florida back to
NM. OAT's were sub zero Fahrenheit.
