Dave,

First there was confusion with too many "V" words and now there seems to be
confusion between crab and slip. Crabbing is what you do , with wings level,
anytime your not perfectly aligned with the wind (course doesn't match
heading).  A slip is when you fly cross controlled and that's what can bite
you in a "V".
