Tom,
I too really like the idea of the Dynon. I will really be watching it
develop (along with the entire market segment) until I make a decision on my
panel. The one somewhat negative remark (other than it is still being
developed) is that is is "somewhat" dim compared to some others. Of course,
this is very subjective. It is my understanding that it is still sunlight
readable.
Please keep us/me posted as you find out more. TIA.

I have a friend who installed one in his Europa and is using it for IFR
training and is now pleased with it.
He had some initial problems (can you say new, not totally tested, low
serial number, etc.) which required some software upgrades and I think he
shipped it back one time for some mods. But he is now happy with it.
If you like, I can put you in touch with him and you can hear it from the
horse's mouth.

pretty slick giving Attitude, airspeed, altitude, rate of turn, slip, AOA,
