REFLECTOR:Nose gear leg

When I hit the ditch mine broke right below the gussets. 
In fact I broke all three gear legs. However, *in my situation* I thought that was a real good thing. 

All three legs gave first preventing any structural damage from being transmitted to the airframe. In other words, the gear breaking off before being ripped out and taking some structure with it is a good thing. 

On the other hand struts breaking on what I assume were normal landings ain't good.
