I recently installed a Klaus Savier electronic ignition on my Velocity =
(Lycoming LIO-360-C1E6). Previously (with the mags), my oil temperature =
always ran around 190 degrees. Now, with the electronic ignition, it =
constantly runs at 220 degrees. Cylinder head temps run around 340 =
degrees. =20
Is this normal? Any solutions to bring the temps back down in the 190s? =
I'm worried about where it will run during the summer months. It is at =
220 when ambient temps are in the high 50s.
Thanks for any advice or input,
Jack
