REFLECTOR: Landing Light Replacement

Chris,

I have the XeVision Xenon lamp, but I'm not flying yet so I can't really comment on the intensity and usefullness, but I can comment on installation, etc.  It went in really easily, with no real modification to the standard mounting.

  I have been flying with the GE 4509 100 Watt landing light and I'm interested in replacing it with a HID or Xenon replacement lamp. Do any of you have experience with this. The reason I am considering this is because of the need for more light in landing. I have a medium grey wind shield and it is dark out there!
