REFLECTOR: Gross Weight Increase

I have the "New and Improved" operating limitations which specifically
states I do not notify the FAA for any major changes.

Since I figured a gross weight increase was a major change, I would follow
the OL's procedure or logging it, test flying in phase one for the time "I"
specify, and move on.
