Is Colorado far enough inland? I have some extra room!

Subject: REFLECTOR: Hurricane Planning

I just wanted to give everyone a "head's up" that everything will NOT be
as
normal at the Velocity factory for the next few days - as we all begin
preparing (in inerst) for Hurrican Frances. At the moment, it looks
like
the storm is heading for the central Atlantic seaboard of Florida -
often
called the "Treasure Coast" (named after, you guessed it, the large
number
of treasure ladened sailing ships that sank in this area during
hurricanes).
One wx forecaster said the hurricane center was headed for "Sebastian
Inlet"
(about 5-miles away from the factory). Let's hope not. Anyway - unless
it's an emergency, please wait until Monday to order parts and to ask
for
technical assistance. The Velocity crew plans to be at the factory and
the
Service Center through Friday - but many will be home - doing their best
to
safeguard their home and loved ones. We'll all be taking a critical
assessment of the storm's path on Thursday - and if Sebastian is
anywhere
near "ground zero", most of the crew, including myself, plan to "bug
out" to
find refuge inland.
Thanks for your understanding ... and say a little prayer!
Best regards,
Scott B.
