REFLECTOR: Russian Crashes

Complete Trivia:  I've flow Аэрофлот (Aeroflot) several times.  Nothing like
waking up in route, totally jetlagged, not sure where you are, and then
seeing a strange-shaped wing outside your window with large red letters on
top, "CCCP."  Not very comforting.  One fun thing is riding on their
equivalent of a 727.  Take off is more appropriately called
struggle-off:takes forever, and then climbs out at what seems 1,000ft/m,
also not very comforting.  The a/c comes out of tiny little nozzles that
don't become effective until about 15 minutes after you are in the air.  We
came to call the airline AeroFLOP and with good reason.  If you have a
choice between Aeroflot and United, you might choose the latter.
