Ok Don....

'bout time you got hammsaircraft.com back online. :) and yes, I have
been checking.

How about updating the home page. Last entry : 9-8-03 Engine and
install kit is sold! Plane kit is now $38,500 (minus the engine and
install kit)! A bargin!

Needs to be updated.

Welcome to the Reflector, Jorge!

I hung my wings on the wall of a friends hanger. I built my fuselage at
home in my one car garage while the fast built (Alan Shaw) wings were
stored at the hanger.

I built wing holders using 3/8 plywood cut to match the wing's leading
edge. I don't have pictures of the wall fixtures, but I later used these
pieces to build a roll around rack that would hold the two wings and
canard. See http://home.sprintmail.com/~romott/page22.html

I used 2x4's and 2x2's sandwiched between two sheets of 3/8 plywood. I
left space for cut pieces of 1.5" blue Styrofoam to cushion the
wings/canard in the holder. Worked well.

Ronnie

| I am looking for a practical storage/secure setup for the completed
| wings. I will go to the factory late September to work on a Fast Build

| XL FG. In planning and setting up my garage, I would like to decide
| what works best for me and build it beforehand, in preparation for
| delivery. If you made a sketch to build yours and want to attach it,
| feel free. :-)
|
| I am new to this forum but I can see the value of having such a
| resource. So far, I've learned quite a few things by reading the
| messages. Some other stuff involving explanations in building lingo is

| more difficult but I assume (or was that hope?) to understand better
| once I get into building and deal with the manuals.
|
| Thanks in advance
| Jorge Bujanda
