REFLECTOR: FUEL CAPACITY

My 173 Elite RG has 32 gallons per side and the 2.3 is about right for the header tank. I have often wondered about having the low fuel light in a header tank that size. That would barely give you time to pick your forced landing site.

My 173 Elite RG has 30 gallons per side and 2.3 gallons in the header tank. I have a bulkhead outboard of the fuselage side - I didn't use the fuselage side as part of my fuel tank. This cost about one gallon per side.

Any idea what the fuel capacity is for each tank on a 173 RG (Longwing) with the standard baggage cutouts? And the capacity of the header tank?

My manuals are up at the hanger and I am doing some calibrating at home.
