MessageAndy,
I sure like the idea of having positive support for the valve body when =
we pull on the lever with a cable. I don't think there would be an =
issue with aluminum vs. brass - after all, the fuel lines and all the =
other "inside" fittings are aluminum, anyway. Also, this is not a valve =
that you will actuate very often, just when you need to service the =
filter or have an engine fire! I'm inclined to use it at the firewall, =
and use the valve from Velocity on the other side of the filter as a =
hand-operated service valve.

Subject: REFLECTOR:Fuel Shutoff valve
I ordered my fuel shutoff valve from Velocity. It is just like the =
one in all the velocity pictures. Brass with two 3/8" npt fittings.
Today I got the Summit Racing catalog and it has an aluminum fuel =
shutoff - AN fitting - bulkhead penetrator, all in one. =
http://store.summitracing.com/productdetail.asp?p=3D2455
Does anyone have experience with this valve? Any thoughts about using =
it?
Thanks,
Andy
