Ronnie,

Thanks for the tip. That is one I think I will do. I usually work alone,
this would be like extra hands. Funny, with all the help I have been
offered, how, it may not be around when needed :-)

All the best,

Chris

Ah and those wonderful adjustable yellow saw horses! (Home depot/Lowe's)

Hint: Drill two 3/8" holes near the ends of the saw horse in the top piece.
Cut a 2 x 4 about three foot long. Mark the 2 x 4 to match the 3/8 holes in
the saw horse. Now thread two lengths of 12" 3/8" threaded rod into the 2 x
4 (tap the 2 x 4). Use two 3/8 nuts on each threaded rod, one above and
one below the saw horse to adjust the 2 x 4 up and down. Now you have a
very adjustable saw horse. I made up two this way and they were great for
holding the back edge of the strake up against the center section spar and
many other tasks. I can even single handedly install and remove my canard
and wings using these two adjustable saw horses. VERY easy to get the wing
positioned just right to insert the wing bolt holes. I also use these as
safety supports for my canard when I jack up the plane using my $10 bottle
jacks to test my retractable gear system. Oh and you will need a third
adjustable yellow saw horse (minus the 2 x 4) up under the fuselage just
behind the nose gear.

| I agree. I tried the templates and quickly figured out how poorly they
| represented my wings I had to come up with another plan. I'm glad I took
| the time to do it right. I could only put one wing on at a time but I
think
| the extra work paid off in the end. (see attached picture)
