It is not too hard. The glass face is removable, just be careful prying =
the glass out. I purchased dial marking tape kit from AS&S and revised =
the markings that came with the Airspeed indicator I purchased from =
Van's (Chinese - but has worked fine).
By the way, for my 173 Elite RG, my markings are:
White and Green starts at 65 kts
White ends at 110 kts (speed brake speed)
Green ends at 140 kts (structural cruising speed)
Yellow starts at 140 kts (smooth air cruise)
Yellow ends at 200 kts
Red (VNE) is marked at 200 kts
