Tom,
I made extensions for mine too, and they are really pretty large, and have
additional hardware in there to allow the doors to lock as well, and I have
the problem a little bit on the pilot side- does not go completely out-
about 1" short- although they are both rigged identically- did you get the
new and improved struts? they are longer than the originals... sounds like
you might have gotten a set with a low gas charge though.

I can't be the only one who experienced this: My doors won't stay up with
the Factory supplied door shocks. I installed them exactly as instructed
and the shocks are just "weak" enough to let the drop. My doors have the
strake extensions on them (with extra elbow room inside). That could've
added weight. Do I simply order the same kind - with a higher poundage?
Does anyone know the capacity of the ones supplied by the factory?
