REFLECTOR:Headset Heartache

Jeff,

Good suggestion but the mere act of lightly touching, not pushing or
pressuring, the headset fixture would stop the noise. When I had the
headset fixture rewired to clean up the questionable connects, then the
noise couldn't be stopped by touching or pressing.

After being unable to "make the noise" yesterday morning on the ramp for the
av-guy, I went flyin' yesterday evening. Nothing.

I believe, though, I've discovered what sets off the noise. It knows when
I'm ready to set off on a trip on a long trip and will have to endure its
noise for hours on end; then it appears with a vengence. But on the ramp,
it hides because it knows I might be able to attack it.

If anthromorphism is attributing human like characteristics to animals, then
this must surely be a case of electroantangonizomorphisim.

Hi Chuck,

Try a different headset. I had some wierd things happen just before
a
couple pairs I had went south. You may have a short in one of the plugs
and your bumping the plug when you touch the recepticle.
