Funny, after years of flying Cessna's with vernier engine controls I thought I would really miss that but I hardly noticed.

The ASC unit does have a "friction" knob to tichten and loosen as needed.
BTW: Make sure you mount your quandrant ABOVE your knee while in a seated position! :-)
