John,
I have a Lightspeed 30 3G and two 25XL units. The big difference between
the Lightspeed and David Clark is.....about $400. The LS are plenty
comfortable and I can't imagine how any other units could do much better at
noise cancellation. The LS are equipped with a auto-shut down (as I assume
the other units probably are) so if they don't sense any noise for several
minutes, they shutdown so you don't drain a set of batteries every time you
forget to turn them off at the end of a flight.
Over a period of time, I've talked to other LS owners and the consensus
seems to be "just as good and a few hundred dollars cheaper" than the Clarks
and Bose. Can't go wrong.

I have a David Clark noise cancelling headset. It works great and is
comfortable. I'm thinking of buying 2 more, but am wondering if any
other brands offer the same noise reduction and comfort at a lower
price. What about the Lightspeed ANR headsets?
