Chuck,

I wanted a heated, straight out pitot for the nose of my V. The only one I
could find was 24V, but in talking to the manufacturer, it will work fine. My
part number is AN5813-1 and it is made by:

Aero Instrument Co.
14901 Emerey Avenue
Cleveland, Oh. 44135
(216) 671-3133

This is a "Known Ice" pitot for the big twins, and in talking with Aero, they
said the requirement was to melt off 1/2" of ice in less than a minute. That
takes about 650 degrees. They let me know that I can hook this unit up to
12-14V and it will still get to about 300 degrees, though it will take a minute
to get up to full temp.
They also told me that they can build 12V systems, if that is what I want.
Perhaps they can assist you in repairs, or whatever else you may need.

Best of luck.

Kurt Winker
