REFLECTOR:A (re)volting problem

For a given resistance I think the power (heat) produced varies with the square of the
voltage, so the heat should be 1/4 at 12 volts.
For those of us with RG, how about running the pitot heat with the same switch that
prevents the gear from retracting on the ground?
