REFLECTOR:A (re)volting problem

I've flown in very brief light ice and it was fine. I don't ever plan on purposely flying in it, longer than a quick couple of minutes descent or climb would produce. I've read tales that they(canards) perform about as well as spam cans except the degradation of lift on the canard requires considerable elevator trim to stay level. Which is probably a good thing as it will let you know more and more that you've been there way to long and its time to make a hasty retreat.
