When I worked on the Voyager at Mojave both Mike & Dick would take their
planes & dog fight using every move, and then some, to relax themselves
from the pressures the Voyager created. When Dick & Jeana were enroute, Mike
would come to the mission trailer every morning to be briefed on the events.

When we were building 173DT, Dick came to Dallas, sat with us for 4 hours
making sure we discarded our auto engine in favor of a certified engine.

Do I know them? I would say yes I do. Those two have done and can do things
to a canard plane that most others talk about and very few can do.
