  As I mentioned in my email yesterday, I have checked on the bolt sizes  
for the seat belts with the guys
at Velocity. In the past, as with my old airplane, they used 5/16"  
bolts, mine are 5/16-18 but I have seen
5/16-24 used...  Now, the new inertial belts come with 7/16-20 bolts  
and that's what everyone is happy
with. The bigger bolts are stronger - yes, but you'll need a really  
stout hard point if you are out to really
stress them ;-)
