I would agree 11K is a lot of money. But it is market driven.  Supply and 
demand they are the only supplier (at this time) and we are the limited demand.  
I hope someone else builds a good prop to compete.  But the reality says how 
many can you sell to re-coop the development cost.
Look at insurance unless you are self insured there is only one game in town 
as far as underwriters are concerned.  I love the Velocity but the number out 
there are not those of the Vans or Lancair.  With larger numbers these issues 
would be spread out over a larger group.  More people would want to build to 
our requests. Get more people flying our bird we get better prices.
