REFLECTOR:Help me buy a house...on an airport

Chris,
    I'm operating a standard Velocity with an IO-360 and MT prop out of
2,600' turf.  I was a military pilot and have over 6,000 hours flight
experience.  If I didn't own this strip I'd not be operating here.  I'd like
to have at least 3,000 feet.  3500' would be better.  The turf is great if
well maintained.  Better on the tires, softer on the landing (usually) and
not concerned about debris (small stones, rocks) that some runways have.
