Bob most Tachs sense pulses the electronic and Mag send out different pulse 
counts.  in order to do this easier we used a little sending unit the Vans 
sells also UMA sells one. This unit uses the drive from the mechanical Tach and 
avoids the back feed from the Mag to the electronic
