Window tinters (that use a thin film veneer) can tint plexi. The can
even do it with windows that are fully installed.

It MIGHT be possible to tint them the way opticians tint sunglasses.
After
all, plastic eyeglasses are a close relative of Plexiglas. I'm not
certain how
you'd adapt this system to already-installed windows though, as
opticians
immerse the lenses in heated dye. If you can figure a way of keeping hot
dye
in contact with the plexiglas for a few minutes, your problem is solved.
