Doug, Seems a little heavy, You may want to make sure the aircraft was level so that the weight was distributed correctly but I suppose the total would be the same. My aircraft N55XL (XL-RG) was 1770# empty with trapped fuel and oil. The aircraft was unpainted but pretty heavy primer. I would guess that after sanding and then painting I probably increased the weight another 20-25 #. Jack N55XL
