Our prop is only 66 inches in diameter, and the 173RG stands a little taller
than the standard velocity.

If I extend the prop it will have tremendous disadvantages. I am already
pushing it (no pun intended) as it is ... because of the short fuselage. I
am afraid of a prop strike.

Same set-up with 600hrs, no burns, a little soot.
