That may be.  But John should not be wondering if his gear will work or not.
If he has problems that he can't figure out, I suggest that he consult with
a mechanic that he trusts or call the factory for support.  If he wants my
advise, I'll do what I can do to offer helpful suggestions - but I'm tired
and I don't want to argue or debate or to provide scientific evidence that
air forces will not keep the gear doors from opening during an emergency
gear down procedure.
