REFLECTOR:Cowl fasteners

Yes, some of them are - but the pins that go into those sockets on the
flange stick out of the back of the outer piece of the cowl, so you have to
be able to approach the flange with the outer cowl directly, not with a
sliding approach.  At the connection to the fuselage near the firewall, this
is not the case.
