Wherever major differences exist between Velocity models (a
retract XL is very different than an SUV), please create a
directory called model_differences so that users will know
you are demonstrating pictures that apply to a specific design.
Please give your name, and a comment for each picture uploaded
that includes the Velocity model, and what the picture is about.

ELITE Keel - Front Section

In this picture you can see the black sprinkler pipe wire conduit (one of two) with some of the wires in place. Note how the pipe ends at the point where the wires will feed up through the front cover to the instrument panel.

You can clearly see the two (right and left) brake line Nyflow conduits made from oversize Nyflow. The actual brake lines are just pushed through the brake line conduits making replacement a snap. These conduits curve up and exit at the top inside of the keel through the canard bulkhead for attachment to the parking brake valve or directly to the brake cylinders.

ELITE Keel - Mid Section

In this picture you can see the black sprinkler pipe wire conduit (one of two) Look carefully at the lower part (close to flange) of the top part of the keel and you will see the Marker Beacon antenna (the copper foil antenna and the coax coming from the center. There is a lot of wasted space in the keel even in a retract. The use of the conduits keeps things away from the retract mechanism and protects the wires and brake lines.

Showing keel installed at fishtail end. The white Nyflow tubing is used as a conduit for the brake line Nyflow tubing so it can be easily replaced. This conduit is extended back and through two holes in the Gear Bulkhead and then turned right and left. The brake line Nyflow tube is then joined to #3 Aeroquip SS/Teflon hose that extends down the gear leg to the brake calipers.
