Nose down trim (up elevator) should be about 1" above TE of canard. Nose up trim (down elevator) should be the rest, about 2 1/2 ". With a heavy load up front (400#) I have noticed the elevator to be delfected down a good 2" (staticly) after landing, and I will trim it to about 1 3/4" down for take-off. Thats how it is on my STG-RG, and it works fine. TEC
