All this talk began because of a Kerosene Heater which leaves a mist of oil and caused delamination. The surface should always be sanded and cleaned with acetone before doing a lay-up, kerosene or no kerosene. Cigarette smoke or for that matter any smoke (cooking-auto etc.) leaves a mist of oil.
