REFLECTOR: plenum fasteners

Franklinites - and Lycomites with the plenum cooling option:

Here's another observation I think you need to know about: The cooling plenum
is fastened to the engine with 6 bolts that screw into tapped holes behind the
cylinders. Star lockwashers are provided that are supposed to hold the bolts in
place. 

My observation is that they do not. I have lost two of the bolts one of which
left an ugly mark on the prop. For the next life of 466MF I am going to have
these bolts drilled so that I can safety wire them. BTW, I'm going to look for
more opportunities to use my newly acquired safetying skills. <g>
