I am planning to do just that. The black yarn is waiting in the hangar. I
have always suspected that the vortillons are vortex generators in disguise
and I want to prove it and I also want to see at what airspeed they become
effective. I admit, I have never understood how or why Sam's (my next door
hangar neighbour) system works. I will probably never understand because
it's kind of hard to take pictures of the underside of a tufted wing <g>.

I'll let you know. Maybe in January.
