REFLECTOR: Prop choice

Steve:

here's the short answer: I gave the IVO back and went for the MT. It is a
little heavier, a hell of a lot more expensive and performs flawlessly. Why
did I change?

Back in the not-so-good old days when there still was a German Democratic
Republic people there had two choices of cars: The Trabant and the Warburg.
Most people who could afford a car went for the Trabant, also
affectionately known as the "Trabi" mainly because it had a backlog of only
about 15 years. The Trabi had a 50's technology 2-stroke engine that reeked
like hell, it was a great socializer because drivers of disabled Trabis
always helped on another out and the Trabi never got old because it looked
old from day one.

Why do I tell you all this? For the sake of a metapher:

The IVO prop is a Trabi
The MT is a BMW
