Since I wrote the above, I spoke to Duane. He mentioned this thread and
pointed out what should have been obvious all along: If the airplane is so
tail heavy it's at risk of tipping over on the ground, it's probably out of
aft CG. So the correct fix is NOT moving the gear, but moving the CG.
As for me, I'm sticking with the IO-360.
