Actually, the actuators (trim and speed brake) are 24 volt.  Scott uses them 
so they will go a little slower at the 12V in the standard velocity.  On the 
speed brake, the actuator speed won't matter, but you should endeavor to keep 
the pitch trim motor going slowly.  It will be much more precisely 
controllable that way.  

You can put in resistors in the pitch trim circuit, or put in the "dynamic 
braking" circuit described in Velocity Views a while back.  If you need a 
schematic, let me know.
